About this course

3.0 PDH

Industrial Safety gives the students perspective on where the OSHA and EPA regulations came from, and what they are trying to protect against.

The historical accidents will be reviewed to show what happened and why - how safety systems can fail if not properly maintained.

We will then go into the US Federal response to a string of industrial accidents in the 1980s.

The course shows the students how important Mechanical Integrity is to keep systems safe, and why regulators consider MI to be critical.

We will go into IIAR-6 - Inspection Testing and Maintenance of Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration Systems and look at how that may affect how maintenance is performed.  It is recommended that the student have a copy or have access to a copy of IIAR-6.
